Our plastic RFID seal combines a 270 mm hanging-style closure with long-range UHF identification and optional sensing functions. It is designed for outdoor logistics, metal equipment and industrial checkpoints where operators need to identify the seal without approaching every item individually.

Use Long-Range Reading at Controlled Checkpoints
The stated 16 m value is a reference maximum for RFID identification. Build the operational distance around the actual seal position, reader and surrounding metal.
Warehouse Gate
Read sealed units entering or leaving a controlled zone. Configure the portal to reduce captures from nearby storage locations.
Vehicle Loading Area
Verify the RFID identity before loading or dispatch. Test the final seal orientation on the truck, cage or transport unit.
Outdoor Equipment Yard
Identify sealed valves, cabinets or equipment at an approved inspection distance while accounting for metal reflections.
Production Transfer Point
Capture sealed carriers moving between manufacturing areas and associate each read with the expected process record.
Container Inspection
Use the seal on compatible attachment points that do not require a certified high-security bolt-seal construction.
Handheld Audit
Allow inspectors to verify RFID identity and supported sensor data using the approved reader and command set.
Separate EPC Range from Sensor Range
| Reader Operation | Information Returned | Deployment Check |
|---|---|---|
| EPC inventory | Electronic seal identity | Test maximum and minimum reliable range in the installed position |
| TID read | Chip-associated identifier | Confirm whether the reader software captures TID |
| User-memory read | Project-defined stored information | Confirm the memory map and access command |
| Temperature command | Sensor value from the selected configuration | Confirm measurement range, accuracy and operating distance |
| Detection-status command | Reported sensor or seal state | Confirm trigger behavior, persistence and interpretation |
| System event | Checkpoint, reader and system timestamp | Define how the software stores and evaluates the read |
Apply and Register the Seal
Assign
Match the EPC and visible number with the protected item or shipment.
Install
Pass the seal through the approved opening and complete the locking action.
Verify
Read the intact tag and confirm available sensor values or status fields.
Record
Store the applied seal identity, item, location and authorized installer.
Test Physical Removal and Detection Response
| Test Stage | Test Method | Acceptance Record |
|---|---|---|
| Intact baseline | Read the locked sample in its final mounting position. | EPC, TID, sensor values, status and reader settings |
| Normal handling | Apply expected vibration, movement and transport handling. | Physical condition, readability and false-status results |
| Controlled cutting | Cut a dedicated sample at the defined removal point. | Physical damage and returned detection state |
| Attempted reconnection | Follow the approved project test without restoring the seal to use. | Status behavior and visible evidence |
| Power-cycle check | Remove the sample from the RF field and read it again. | Whether the detection state persists |
| Reader-distance check | Compare EPC inventory and sensor access at increasing distances. | Reliable range for each required operation |
Temperature Project Requirements
Measurement Range
Specify the lowest and highest temperatures expected during storage, transport and inspection.
Required Accuracy
State the acceptable measurement tolerance at the temperatures relevant to the application.
Measurement Location
Position the sensor where its temperature represents the intended surface or surrounding environment.
Reading Method
Confirm whether personnel need an inspection-time reading or another data-collection method.
Excursion Rules
Define the temperature limits and how the connected system should display an out-of-range result.
Reference Testing
Compare sample readings with a suitable reference under controlled acceptance conditions.

Plastic RFID Seal Questions
Up to 16 meters is the target page's reference maximum. Actual performance depends on chip configuration, reader output, antenna, seal orientation, surrounding metal, local regulations and site conditions.
Do not assume that EPC inventory range and sensor-command range are identical. Test both functions with the selected chip, reader, antenna and installed seal position.
A passive UHF seal has no independent GPS or continuous communications link. A location event is created when an installed reader detects the tag and the connected system records that reader's location.
The result depends on the supplied detection design. Confirm whether identity remains readable, which status changes, whether the state persists and how the reader retrieves it.
No general automatic-reconfiguration claim should be made. The approved sample should establish the precise electronic and physical response after cutting, opening or attempted reconnection.
The product is listed for on-metal use. Validate the exact mounting point because metal geometry, antenna clearance and housing orientation affect RFID and sensor performance.
The target page does not provide a high-security mechanical certification. Use it only where its plastic hanging-style construction and available documentation meet the buyer's sealing requirements.
Please provide sealing-point photographs, surrounding materials, required detection response, temperature range, country of use, reader model, encoding format, color, quantity and destination.
