Description

product overview

Temperature Logger Dual Frequency Sticker is designed for applications where temperature history and RFID identification are equally important. Combining UHF (860–960 MHz) and HF (13.56 MHz) communication in one label, it enables both close-range verification and long-range inventory scanning without changing tags.

Powered by the FM13DT160 chip, the label records temperature data while storing identification information in its 160kbit EEPROM, making it suitable for cold chain logistics, pharmaceutical transportation, food storage and warehouse monitoring.

Why Choose Dual-Frequency Instead of Single-Frequency RFID?

Dual-Frequency Temperature Logger Standard NFC Temperature Tag
UHF + HF communication HF only
Up to 9 m reading distance Typically within 3–5 cm
Batch inventory scanning One-by-one reading
Suitable for warehouse and logistics Mainly suitable for close-range inspection
Temperature logging + RFID identification Mainly identification or short-range data access

ROI & Business Benefits

Reduce manual inspection time by 30–60%

Traditional temperature inspections require employees to manually record readings at multiple checkpoints. RFID temperature logging digitizes this process, allowing multiple items to be identified automatically during receiving, storage and shipping. Result: Many warehouse and cold-chain operators reduce manual inspection time by 30–60%, depending on workflow.

Speed up inventory operations by up to 5×

Using UHF RFID, multiple tagged packages can be identified simultaneously instead of scanning items one by one. Compared with barcode scanning, RFID inventory counting is commonly 3–5 times faster, especially for pallet or carton-level operations.

Reduce product losses caused by temperature excursions

According to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, approximately 14% of food is lost globally before reaching retail, with inadequate cold-chain management being one contributing factor. Continuous temperature records help identify abnormal storage conditions earlier, reducing spoilage risk. For pharmaceutical logistics, maintaining an uninterrupted temperature record also helps avoid product rejection caused by incomplete compliance documentation.

Lower compliance and audit workload

Digital temperature records eliminate paper logs and manual transcription. Many pharmaceutical distributors and cold-chain operators report that electronic records can reduce audit preparation time by 50–70%, especially when historical temperature data must be retrieved quickly.

One label replaces two

Instead of deploying separate HF and UHF labels, the dual-frequency design supports both mobile NFC verification and long-range RFID identification.

Benefits include: Lower labeling costs/Easier inventory management/Fewer SKUs/Simplified deployment

FAQ

Q: What types of RFID tags do you offer?

A: We offer a wide range of RFID tags, including UHF, HF, and Bluetooth, suitable for diverse scenarios such as logistics management, warehouse traceability, cold chain monitoring, asset management, and retail anti-counterfeiting.

Q: How much do RFID tags cost?

A: RFID tag prices vary depending on the customization requirements (chip type, package, frequency, and size). We support bulk purchases, offer wholesale discounts on RFID tags, and offer more competitive pricing for long-term customers.

Q: Can RFID tags be customized?

A: Yes. We support ODM/OEM RFID tag customization, including printing of logos, barcodes, QR codes, text imprinting, laser engraving, and personalized coding to meet the individual needs of different industries.

Q: Do you provide RFID tag samples?

A: Yes, we offer low-cost sample testing so that customers can verify functionality and evaluate performance before placing a formal order.

Q: What is the lead time for RFID tags?

A: Standard RFID tags are in stock and available for quick delivery. Custom RFID tags generally offer proofing within 2-3 days, with batch production lead times determined by quantity and process.

Q: What industries are Temperature Logger Dual Frequency Stickers primarily used for?

A: They are widely used in industries such as cold chain transportation, warehouse management, and healthcare management, helping businesses improve efficiency and traceability.
