Products Description
On Metal NFC Tag, employing the ISO15693 protocol and 13.56MHz high-frequency technology, is a high-performance NFC tag specifically designed for metal environments. It effectively solves the problems of shortened reading distance and severe signal interference on metal surfaces found in traditional NFC tags. Measuring 20×65×8mm, the tag boasts a robust and stable structure, supports laser printing, and enables asset identification and digital management. It is particularly suitable for industrial equipment management, inspection management, tool tracking, and IoT asset management systems.
NFC Tag has a built-in 256-byte storage capacity, meeting the needs of device information writing, authentication, and data exchange. It maintains a stable reading distance of approximately 15mm on metal surfaces (depending on the NFC reader's performance). It supports both adhesive-backed and screw-fixed mounting methods, adapting to complex industrial application environments. The white casing facilitates customized labeling, while its durable structure and 1-year warranty provide system integrators with a reliable NFC on metal solution.
On Metal NFC Tag is widely used in Industrial Internet of Things (IoT), manufacturing, Equipment Maintenance Management (EAM), warehouse tracking, and digital asset management scenarios, serving as a crucial component for asset digitization and data acquisition.

How do On Metal NFC Tags work?
Anti-metal NFC tags are designed based on the interaction between the NFC antenna and metal. At a frequency of 13.56 MHz, traditional NFC antennas become detuned if they are in direct contact with conductive metal. The resulting change in antenna impedance reduces the energy transmitted from the NFC reader to the tag.
Metal-surface NFC tags employ optimized antenna configurations and isolation layers to create a more suitable operating environment between the antenna and the metal surface. This helps maintain antenna tuning and magnetic coupling when the tag is mounted on a metal device.
Products application
Industrial Equipment Asset Management: Applicable to the management of metal equipment, machinery assets, and tools. NFC enables rapid reading of equipment information, improving the digitalization of equipment management.
Equipment Inspection and Maintenance Management: NFC tags are installed on the surfaces of factory equipment, cabinets, and production lines. Workers can quickly access maintenance records and instructions via mobile phone or reader/writer.
Tool and Warehouse Management: Applicable to metal tools, shelves, turnover boxes, and industrial containers, enabling rapid identification and inventory management.
Medical and Laboratory Equipment Management: Can be used for identifying metal medical equipment assets, supporting rapid information reading and maintenance record management.
