The RFID Armory Management System uses RFID technology to enhance the safety, traceability and efficiency of weapons. This management system can effectively ensure the security of the monitoring chain of weapons issued, returned and stored from the armory, and automatically record the changes in the status of weapons, improve inventory efficiency, and speed up the inventory cycle.
RFID tags are installed on each weapon, and RFID antennas connected to RFID readers are installed at the armory exchange windows to automatically track issued and returned weapon assets. During the inventory cycle, the armorer sweeps the RFID reader across each storage rack, and the reader automatically detects all existing weapons and equipment. When the armorer reconnects the reader to the RFID armory management system, the system database is updated with the current location of all inventory equipment.
